The Owner's Story:
In 1997 after trying to be a stay-at-home-mom, and failing miserably, I decided to find the ideal job. Little did I know my ideal job was about to fall into my lap. My father-in-law owned a retail store he wanted to sell. My husband asked if I would like to buy the store. He did not have to ask twice. That October, I started my new venture, perhaps more aptly called adventure, as an owner of a retail store. While the focus of the store had been on pewter items and collectibles, I wanted to make it a more full-service gift store. Sycamore Gifts has come a long way since 1997 with the services it offers by adding embroidery and printing services to the mix. Because our store offers so many personalized services, finding the perfect gift has never been easier.
